Mist Elimination

Mist is a phenomenon of small droplets suspended in air. In the coastal climate areas the interaction of water and air is endless but this entrainment can be eliminated by our mist elimination devices. In every process where water and air/gas comes in contact tiny water particle gets carried away. The moist gas/air are often causes of corrosion, expensive solvent losses, increasing maintenance cycles and possess threat on the health of workers and inhabitants surrounding the plant. |

Droplets & Size Distribution
Trapped liquid is not of the same size always. It is normally distributed centerd over a mean. The following table is important to find out the cause of entrapped droplets and its effects.

Types of Mist Eliminator
- Knitted Mesh
- Parallel Vane/Plate
- Fibre Cylindrical/Flat Panel
- Combination of above types
This is most widely used mist eliminator with proven results. It can capture mist droplets as low as 6µm.
This device is useful where higher vapour-gas velocity is required. Itcan't remove droplets smaller than 20µm. It can be installed in circular/rectangular form made of metal/plastic in horizontal and vertical directions.
This is a device which can eliminate mist of dia less then 3µm. It is generally made of glass,cellulose or plastics . The device is manufactured in a cylindrical form.
Generally, it is a combination of Mesh and Vane type mist eliminators in different installation sequences.
